Delightful Spring Wedding at a local beach in the Bahamas of Keno and Linelle.

Keno and Linelle decided to tie the knot on a lovely, hot spring day at a local beach near Cable Beach, Nassau Bahamas.

As a wedding photographer here in The Bahamas, I am not a stranger to very humid and hot ceremonies. In fact, it’s the calling card of the islands. Today was no different as I had the pleasure of covering a mid-day beach wedding.

I started the day arriving at the ceremony site. This was a very small and intimate affair with only close friends and families. This was one of the first weddings where the bride and groom were on time but we had to wait on the family to arrive. Despite this, we were able to all stay upbeat as today was a culmination of a number of years together for this lovely couple.

Though not a normal day where I would shoot prep before the ceremony, I did enjoy getting to the ceremony site a bit earlier than normal. It allowed some time for me to scout out locations for after images as well as the best images for the ceremony.

I was able to talk to the chaplain and request the bride me placed with her back to the sun. Though not traditional he agreed once I said it would be the best way to get beautiful light on her face. All in all the day turned our marvellously and the images were amazing. See a few of my favourites from this wedding!
